Four things, done properly
What carbon accounting
software needs to do well.
Measure honestly, verify everything, keep every company's data cleanly separated, and produce disclosure an auditor can work with.
01 / Measure
Measurement that starts from real activity
Numbers built up from what happened, not estimated down from what looks right.
- 01
Scope 1, 2 and 3 tracking
Every activity entry is categorised by emission source, type and unit of measurement, structured around the GHG Protocol's three scopes.
- 02
Automatic calculation, clearly labelled
AiroX keeps automatic factor-based calculation distinct from manually supplied CO₂e, so reviewers can always see how a result was produced.
- 03
Dual Scope 2, both accounting methods
Location-based and market-based electricity emissions, computed side by side per the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance.
- 04
All fifteen Scope 3 categories
Every value-chain category in the GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain Standard is available to organise against — not just the easiest two or three.
02 / Verify
A workflow that earns the word “verified”
Data quality is an internal review discipline, not a promise.
- 01
A visible approval path
Entries move DRAFT → SUBMITTED → APPROVED_L1 → APPROVED_FINAL, or REJECTED with a required written comment, handled by the tenant's own admin and owner users.
- 02
Internal review, not external assurance
This is quality control inside your own team. AiroX does not perform or claim third-party audit or assurance over disclosed figures.
- 03
Recurring task tracking
Set up data-submission tasks daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, and work through them as a shared checklist.
- 04
A complete audit trail
Sign-ins, approvals, rejections and changes are logged in an append-only trail — the record auditors and lenders actually ask to see.
03 / Organise
Structure that mirrors how the group actually runs
An organisational tree at arbitrary depth, not a flat list of departments.
- 01
Companies as an arbitrary-depth tree
Model holding companies, subsidiaries and sites as nodes at any depth — not a fixed two-level org chart.
- 02
Roles that travel down, never sideways or up
A membership on a node grants OWNER, ADMIN, MEMBER or VIEWER access to that node and every descendant. Effective role is the highest role held on the node or any ancestor — it never reaches siblings or ancestors.
- 03
Subtree roll-ups on demand
Anyone with an effective role at a node can pull aggregated totals for its subtree — emissions by scope, per-child breakdowns and a pending-approval count.
- 04
Isolation between separate customers is absolute
Separate customers share no membership and can never see each other's data. Roll-ups only ever aggregate within one customer's own company tree.
04 / Disclose
Reporting that matches SLFRS S2, line for line
The parts that turn a measurement tool into a disclosure tool.
- 01
Four-pillar narrative disclosure
Governance, Strategy, Risk Management and Metrics & Targets, structured to SLFRS S2's own section order.
- 02
One structured report, ready to save
Narrative and GHG tables — Scope 1, dual Scope 2, all fifteen Scope 3 categories — compiled together and ready to review or print for a board.
- 03
Applicability still needs professional judgement
AiroX structures the disclosure; it does not certify compliance or substitute for your own or an external auditor's judgement.
